Suggestion agilewebsolutions.com website

edited December 1969 in Mac
Being a long-time user of 1PW, I don't have (or rather, i don't use) the opportunity to look at the home page or those that are linked to that, that new prospective users are looking at.

Yes, it looks beautiful.

BUT (you did expected the "but", didn't you), I would recommend to:

In http://agilewebsolutions.com/products/1Password: add a hyperlink to 'encryption' in "No worries: Strong encryption keeps your data safe." that will take you to "Rock Solid Security" in http://agilewebsolutions.com/products/1Password/user_guide (or perhaps a better place that has more details).

-

In http://agilewebsolutions.com/products/1Password: "No worries: Your data never leaves your computer." needs some rewrite, following the (great) capability to sync.

-

in http://agilewebsolutions.com/onepassword/win, is it really mandatory to have 1PW for Mac? [you say "1Password for Windows also requires that you already upgraded to 1Password 3 for Mac."] You may deter those 'few' who do not enjoy the Mac experience, being PC (Windows) users only.
Hi Locker,

I'd agree 100% with Tommy, all very valuable points and I'll mention them to our web team and see if there's something we can do, we do get a lot of questions about data security so certainly linking to some of the already existing documentation would help here.

Thanks again, we always appreciate the feedback

Thanks Locker, it's about time we review the homepages again.

Re: Windows, I agree the language could be softened but the main point was to prevent confusion. I expect mostly existing 1P users will be testing the beta and if they have a 1P2 keychain things will not go well. I updated the Windows page already to soften this requirement. As for items #1 and #2, I'll need to investigate that when I have a bit more time.
i = i+1

    If i = 100 goto Check-it

    I agree with Tommy too.

    End

    Check-it:

    Did it overheat?

Perhaps someone has already responded to your comment #3, because that page says, "If you are syncing with Mac you will need to upgrade to 1Password 3 for Mac first."

That's true, and quite different from "1Password for Windows also requires that you already upgraded to 1Password 3 for Mac." :)

Yes. Dave made this change (see his response earlier in this thread), and it sounds much better.
