UI parity between Mac and Windows versions

I would very much like to see as much user interface parity between the Mac and Windows versions as possible. I think the Mac interface is great and think it would work quite well in Windows whereas the reverse is not usually the case.
By way of examples, here are a few differences where the Windows version isn't as useful as the Mac.
1. New version upgrade prompt requires more effort to display the release notes (and by default don't think it even shows them but the Mac version does). I like to see what has changed - especially since this is beta.
2. The 'find' search is always available in the Mac OS version but in the Windows version it has to be invoked every time. It is more useful if always available.
There are other differences I've spotted but these come immediately to mind.
Thanks for listening.

Thanks for your comments, piggy!
On your specific points: 1) You can click a button in the upgrade window to see what's been fixed in the current update. 2) I don't recall the details, but a recent post from Intrepid Coder Stefan mentioned that there is an issue with how the toolbar is drawn that prevents it from being a field, rather than a button.
More generally, 1Password for Windows is based on the 1Password 2 UI (as that was the active version on the Mac when development began). We plan to incorporate more of the features, look, and feel of 1Password 3 in future (post-beta) releases of 1Password for Windows.
Thanks for your patience!Flag 0
