1password addon causeing firefox leaks

edited March 2011 in Mac
On OSX Console, if the 1password addon is enabled, Firefox 4 beta 12 reports several instances of :

__NSAutorelease NoPool () : Object (hex) of class (NSCFTimer, NSCFDate, NSCFString (and several more) autorelased with no pool in place- just leaking

It only happens if the 1password addon is enabled. Disabled, there is no report.

This happens immediately on firefox startup.

  • Hi addikt10,

Thanks for the report, which version of 1Password are you using right now (1Password > About 1Password), the reason I ask is because we've been making some improvements to our Firefox 4 extension of late, so if you're not on version 3.5.8 please use 1Password > Check for Updates to get this version.

    Please let me know,

Thanks addikt10, just wanted to confirm you were on the latest version. I've just tested this myself and I can reproduce the leak. I've passed this along to our Firefox extension wizard, Chad, to see what he can do to fix this.

    Thanks for letting us know.

    Thanks Stu.

I'm running it on Macs, Family's Windows machines, and recommend it to people on a weekly basis.

A great product, and I hope that it keeps getting better.
  • Well thank you, addikt10, we don't advertise much so having users like yourself spreading the word really does make a difference <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

We've got some amazing plans for the future of 1Password, and I really wish I could tell you more about them.
